CB2TB Provided Items To Help Children Cope During COVID-19

Updated: Jun 12, 2020

On June 6th, 2020 Combat Boots 2 The Boardroom, with the help Al Hagan, provided 26 Kindles, 4 Google, Home Mini Speakers, and 30 Snack Boxes to military children. Additionally, we gave a special gift to spouses in honor of Military Spouse Day. The event was held at the Richmond Hill Chamber of Commerce. This was our way of saying thank you to our military community and veterans for all of their sacrifices.

This was our way trying to help not only kids but families continue to cope during this current pandemic. While the items are for the kids, we hope they will serve as a tool to help families bond as well. One example of this is one family identified an app where a deployed service member could record themselves reading a book and then the child was able to pull up the recording and listen to it, as if their parent was right there reading it to them. Stories like that are why we do this. We want to do whatever we can to make life that much easier for our military community.
